Emirates Stadium atmosphere survey
31 October 2013
As some fans will be aware, for Tuesday night's game against Chelsea we asked all BSM members interested in creating some noise and a good atmosphere to buy tickets in blocks 19, 18 and 17 of the ground. We were pleased that a good few hundred managed to get seats in this area of the stadium and were up for a great night watching The Arsenal.
The evening started well, but numerous issues with busy stewards and police ruined the game for many fans. You can read a full review of these events on our 'View from the Clock End' page - click here to read the article.
This article and comments from fans since Tuesday evening has brought up the issue of the atmosphere at Emirates Stadium, yet again. While REDaction do all they can to try and generate noise and colour, more often than not their ideas are refused by the club, or agreed then pulled at the last minute. Stewarding is a topic that always rears its head, and it's obvious that things aren't as good as they could be.
We have therefore put together a very short survey - just four questions - which we'd like all Arsenal fans to complete. While many fans have complained about events the other night, this survey should give us a wider view as to the feelings of our supporters, with regard to atmosphere at our home games.
Please take a couple of minutes to complete the survey, and send it to any Arsenal fans you know. When the results are collated in a couple of weeks we'll publish these and use them in our discussions with the club. Ideally these results will help us shape the topic of atmosphere moving forward, and we can reach a point where Emirates Stadium provides a positive, enjoyable atmosphere for all Arsenal supporters.
