12 January 2013
In mid-December we issued our 2012-13 mid-season survey to our members. The survey was sent to 3,019 members and we had 2,324 respones. This represents a 77% response rate which is very pleasing, so thanks to those who took the time to complete the survey.
All answers have now been collated and we can share the survey results. Some highlights are:
In addition, respondents got to rank the aims and initiatives of the Black Scarf Movement, and make suggestions as to what they'd like to see us campaign for.
In our recent letter to Ivan Gazidis we said that we'd share these results with him, therefore we have done so.
Finally, we can confirm that this survey was designed to gauge the opinions of our membership on various areas relating to The Arsenal. The results of the survey do not change our aims as a group, aims which can be seen by reading through the About Us section of this website. Any decision(s) on change or addition to our aims and campaigns will be made through our Annual General Meetings.

All answers have now been collated and we can share the survey results. Some highlights are:
- More season ticket holders completed the survey than fans from any of the other listed categories.
- Over two-thirds are in favour of the 'Arsenalisation' project at Emirates, but most feel the atmosphere at matches has got worse over the past few years.
- The vast majority feel our squad is weaker this season than last, and that our performances this season haven't been good enough.
- Fans are pretty much split on Arsene Wenger. Almost 46% of the respondents support him, with just 0.9% more feeling he is no longer the man for the job and 8% undecided.
- There is a heavy feeling that the Board of Arsenal aren't running the club the way they should.
- Most would like Red & White Holdings to have a say in how the club is run, BUT only if they outline their visions for the club.
- People call for a change of Board and want someone with a football background, with a knowledge of and/or links to Arsenal.
- Almost 95% of people would like fans to have a say in how the club is run.
In addition, respondents got to rank the aims and initiatives of the Black Scarf Movement, and make suggestions as to what they'd like to see us campaign for.
